It’s getting easier to choose healthier foods when you eat out in Tower Hamlets, as increasingly more cafés, takeaways, restaurants and caterers take part in the Food for Health Awards.

There are three levels to the Awards – gold, silver and bronze. You can tell if a food outlet is part of the Food for Health Awards by a commemorative plate or a window sticker displayed in their premises.  Download your Healthy Eating Pocket Guide here.

The awards encourage food businesses to provide healthier food options on their menus offering  dishes with reduced calories, fat and sugar, and serve smaller portions.
